Here is an example of the most recent Action Alert from Numbers USA. Please register with them so you can receive these alerts and send free faxes to your representatives in Washington, D.C. The fax I sent is highlighted in red. You may copy and paste it into an email if you want to use it.

Lambaste Pres. Obama for Protecting Illegal Alien Workers

From a Numbers USA Action Alert:

For the third time, the Obama administration has postponed the implementation of former President Bush's executive order requiring all federal contractors to use the E-Verify employment verification system. This is the fourth time the executive order's implementation has been postponed (President Bush postponed its implementation pending the outcome of a lawsuit and the Obama administration postponed its implementation in January and again in April). It is clear that the Obama administration is trying to prevent this executive order from going into effect, thereby protecting illegal alien workers and preventing unemployed Americans from finding jobs.

Please fax President Obama and demand that he allow this executive order to go into effect so that unemployed Americans have a fair chance of attaining government-funded jobs.

Here's an example of the free fax you can send:

We are appalled that you continue to postpone the implementation of the executive order mandating the use of the E-Verify system! If this is a ploy to use the contractor rule in exchange for an amnesty, it is not going to work!

How can you or anyone within your administration justify postponing an executive order that would actually help unemployed Americans find a job? In case you have not heard the latest figures from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, let me tell you that more than 14 million Americans are unable to find a job (and more than 20 million Americans with a part-time job are searching for full-time employment).

As if America's unemployment situation were not bad enough, more than 7 million illegal aliens hold non-agricultural jobs. Not only does your administration support "comprehensive immigration reform" that would permanently disemploy 7 million American workers, now your administration is actively preventing the implementation of an executive order that would help unemployed Americans find government-subcontracted jobs. You seem to be giving more "hope" to illegal aliens than unemployed Americans.

I urge you and your administration to determine where your priorities lie. Do you wish to continue supporting the rights of illegal aliens, those who broke the law by entering the United States, over the rights of unemployed American workers? I sincerely hope not as more than 13 million Americans would suffer from such a decision.

Sincerely,
Me
