TIME: 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (Eastern Time)

PLACE: Outside the offices of Senators Lugar and Bayh
10 West Market Street (near Monument Circle)
Indianapolis, IN

WHY: to deliver "pink slips" to our Senators for their betrayal of America with S. 1348 and to express outrage over our government's refusal to protect us.

This rally is Indiana's contribution to the March for America. (Additional information is posted separately on the Calendar of Events.)

We will rally outside the offices of Senators Bayh and Lugar to protest the Senate's betrayal of America through S.1348, the Grand Deception, not the Grand Compromise! This bill does the opposite of what our senators say. It will not secure our borders and it gives amnesty to millions of illegals. It will make matters much worse than the status quo. It will lead to even more illegal immigration and impose even greater burdens on law-abiding, tax-paying Americans.

So, bring your American flags, bring your friends and family.

Conduct: You must not block the sidewalk or doorways to offices in the area. Spread out around the corner or down to Monument Circle, if the crowd gets too big. Obey all laws and show respect for others. You might be called names, but do not respond in kind. Questions and interviews should be directed to Tina Preston, Greg Serbon or Cheree Calabro. IFIRE must pre-approve any flyers or handouts.

Bring signs:

I-FIRE Lugar and Bayh!
Today we March--Tomorrow we vote!!
Forget illegals! Deport Lugar and Bayh!
Honk to Stop Amnesty!
Secure Borders Now!
Adopt Mexico's Immigration Law

The pink slips are available for download at www.MinutemanMidwest.com under the NEWS column. We will bring them to the rally for you to sign.

I will be there to support IFIRE. I hope many others will be there as well. We need to have OUR voices heard. We have been "sold out" by Lugar and Bayh. As far as I'm concerned these two are traitors to the State of Indiana, and our Country. We are being overrun by Illegals and the news last week of the little 7 yr. old girl raped sent me over the edge. I hope others are as outraged as I am about this. It's time we took back our city, our state, and OUR country.

Dave,

I'm so glad you'll be there! I look forward to meeting you! Bring all the friends and relatives you can muster!

We the people outnumber the politicians of both parties who are selling us out. Those political elites are allowing us to be abused by illegals. Worse than that...they're encouraging it! (See my latest post on the S. 1348: the Grand Deception) We need to show our numbers. We'd have a great crowd if everyone on my email list would show up. Thank you for taking a stand and for standing by us!

I believe this pending amnesty bill would be a turning point for America; turning towards Balkanization, lawlessness and destruction of the middle class. I will be there on the 16th and I hope Senators Lugar and Bayh will get the message. Secure our nations borders now!

Shall I call you "X" or "Duke?"

I prefer Duke because it reminds me of John Wayne.

Thanks for standing with us! Please be sure to introduce yourself to me on the 16th.

This Amnesty bill is just horrible! I have never seen such deception, such utter garbage on the floor of the Senate! If you haven't read it yet, check out the General Discussion post with Mary's 26 reasons why S. 1348 should never become law.

Please feel free to call me Duke. I have always been a big John Wayne fan also and years ago when I tried to make a handle "Duke" it was already taken. So I added the X and have used it for years.

I am really Scott and I spoke with a friend from Wabash today and he is going with me to our rally in Indy on the 16th. We hope our Senators can see the light an vote against this terrible compromise bill that will harm our nation for generations. I don't worry about my representatives vote. I know Representative Burton will do the right thing.

Our Senators don't seem to respect the millions of faxes and phone calls they have received from law-abiding, tax-paying citizens. They are ovbiously impressed by millions of law-breaking, tax-evading illegals marching in our streets.

Send them a message they will understand!

March for America and help us tell Senators Lugar and Bayh:

Today We March
Tomorrow We Vote...You Out!!!
