This is the 2nd hearing on this bill. We expect the committee to vote on SB 335 this time. Most of the supporters got to testify at the last hearing. The remaining opponents will get to testify first on Wednesday. More testimony will then be taken from the public and experts, pro and con. You will enjoy this testimony because nationally-known experts and activists will be there. You are welcome to testify in writing or orally, but please keep your comments to about 1 minute since time will be restricted. Bring a brief written copy of your comments to submit for the record. We are still looking for legal immigrants to testify about their experience. Please call Cheree at 219-916-2085 or Greg Serbon at 219-545-1206 with any questions.
